Chris Paul Daniels

Chris Paul Daniels is a film and video artist, whose work involves experimental documentation of communal perspectives and memories regarding geographical location. He has exhibited and screened work nationally and internationally, including BFI Southbank, Ikon Gallery, Chisenhale Gallery, and the National Media Museum. In 2010 he gained MA from RCA, and won the Deutsche Bank Award for Art for his collaborative project Unravel, the longest hand-painted film in Britain.  He has performed live visuals with musicians in Iceland, Sweden and the Netherlands. Recent works include Premier/Divisions, the outcome of a Triangle Network / Gasworks Gallery residency at Kuona Trust Arts Centre in Nairobi, and a major commission for Virgin Records 40th anniversary.
